Anne Harrington de Santana is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Political Science. Before joining the PhD program, Anne earned an MA from the Committee on International Relations, an AB from Dartmouth College, and spent two years working in the non-profit sector-- first in Boston, Massachusetts as an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer, and then in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India as a Lombard Fellow at SEVA Mandir. Her research interests include critical theory, feminist theory, deterrence theory, nuclear (non)proliferation and international relations theory.
Ariel Weiser, Associate Ombudsperson

Ariel Weiser,
Associate Ombudsperson
Ariel Weiser is a fourth-year student in The College studying Sociology. His research interests include charter schools, education law, and social movements. He founded and currently chairs the Big Brothers Big Sisters Mentoring Club, an RSO which facilitates sustained, one-on-one mentoring relationships between University students and Hyde Park youth. He has worked as a research assistant for Project IF “Inventing the Future” at The Harvard Graduate School of Education and for The Cohen Center for Modern Jewish Studies at Brandeis University. He has most recently worked for the New York law firm Kasowitz, Benson, Torres & Friedman, LLP.
