I’m having trouble with my classes. How can I get help to improve my study skills or get help with a particular subject or specific skill?
Call the Academic Skills Assessment Program, 2-9800. The College Core tutoring program supports students in completing the College Core requirements. The Little Red Schoolhouse writing course is also available is structured to aid graduate students, GSB students, and third and fourth year undergraduates to become better academic writers.

The Dean-on-Call and the Sexual Assault Dean-on-Call are both available 24 hours a day to assist students with emergency situations, call 834-HELP.

The University Police may be reached by calling (773) 702-8181 (off-campus) 123 (from on-campus phones), or by pressing the red button on any of the white emergency phones around campus. In an emergency situation, the Chicago Police may be reached by dialing 911. In non-emergency situations, they may be reached by dialing 312-746-6000 or 311 (city line).
