About the Student Ombuds Office
Meet the StaffMin Lee
Student Ombuds
Min Lee is an MD student at Pritzker School of Medicine. She received her BA in molecular and cell biology from Yale University and her PhD in neurobiology from the University of Chicago.
Since 2018, she has been a medical advocate for Resilience, a Chicago-based nonprofit organization that provides services and resources for sexual assault survivors. As a medical advocate, she works with patients in the emergency room to ensure that their legal and medical rights are protected during their hospital visit. She currently serves on the Associate Board for Resilience as a chair of the membership committee. On campus, she has been a member of the admissions committee for the Medical Scientist Training Program since 2017. She has also served as a teaching assistant for both graduate and undergraduate classes.
In her spare time, you can find her watering one of her many plants, reading YA novels, and chasing around her increasingly mobile infant daughter.
Adriel Ghadoushi
Student Ombuds
Adriel Ghadoushi is a JD candidate (Class of 2026) at the Law School. Originally from Los Angeles, he earned his BS in Society & Environment from UC Berkeley.
Before law school, Adriel worked in corporate sustainability and founded a nonprofit focused on civic engagement. He serves on the University Student Health Advisory Board and is passionate about making campus resources more accessible to all students.
As a Student Ombuds, Adriel offers a welcoming space where students can discuss any university-related concerns, big or small. He’s here to listen without judgment and help you explore options for moving forward in a confidential setting.
Outside of his academic and ombuds work, Adriel enjoys sharing his Persian heritage through cooking (with a plant-based twist) and traveling with his partner.
